A Room With A View: 6th Grade will be participating in a year-long on-line project with schools all over the world called A Room With A View. Each month we will be taking photos looking out of the Computer Lab door. Then we will upload the photo to this web page along with a descriptive paragraph of when the photo was taken and the weather on that day along with any other interesting observations that we made while taking the photo. Visit our A Room With a View page.
Human Genetics Project: From the Human Genetics Project web site - The Human Genetics Project is an Internet-based project which will enrich a student's learning experience through "Unique and Compelling" applications of instructional technology. In particular, this project taps into some of the exciting applications of the Internet in education by having students collaborate in large numbers across great distances to "pool" large amounts of data. By participating in this project, students also have the opportunity to interact with experts online, use an online asynchronous discussion board to to discuss project-related topics, and publish their own work to this project web site. Our Human Genetics Project page coming soon!
